ELIZABETH STEVENS & JAMES BRUNER

Elizabeth and James are a husband-and-wife writing and producing team who were hired by Richard Zanuck (Sweeney Todd, Driving Miss Daisy, Jaws, etc.) and Lili Fini Zanuck to write and Executive Produce Pretty Boy Floyd, a feature film in development about the infamous Depression-era outlaw.

James and Elizabeth recently wrote Ice Dreams, a romantic drama, for The Hallmark Channel. Ice Dreams completed production in fall, 2008 and will air in 2009 as part of the lead-up to the Winter Olympics. They also developed and wrote the feature-length action/adventure screenplay, Kill Switch, for Larry Levinson Productions.

James and Elizabeth Co-Produced the action/thriller feature Double Tap in South Texas. Double Tap is now in post-production for a theatrical release in 2009.

They also wrote and produced the independent comedy feature Hollywood Dot Com. James directed the picture and Elizabeth played one of the lead roles.

James and Elizabeth worked with Columbia Tri-Star as writers and producers on developing the one-hour drama series Delta Force 2000.

Prior to their partnership, James wrote 13 movies that include the hit movies Missing In Action, The Delta Force, and Invasion USA, which were all Number 1 or 2 at the box office. James’s feature credits also include Braddock: Missing In Action III, POW: The Escape. He also wrote the one- hour CBS pilot script, The Delta Force.

James has a degree in Medieval History from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. His first writing sale was the second screenplay he wrote, the martial arts thriller, "An Eye For An Eye". The picture became a breakout hit for Chuck Norris.

Music was Elizabeth’s first love and she started singing professionally in Junior High. She has had several singles released and has also done a lot of session work, as well as recording demos for various music labels. She has also done radio jingles, singing and voiceover work on a series of children’s albums and she produced the musical component of an Arthritis Foundation benefit concert. Singing led Elizabeth naturally into acting. She has appeared in several commercials and independent films.
