Resume (Position, Network/Production Company, Year, Location, & Description) - you can cut and paste your resume here
I'm British born and moved here when I was in my early 20s. I spent the first four years in an all girl band as the lead singer (awesome) but not realistic! I joined Paramount Pictures and started working in Business Affairs. After 2 ½ years I left to spend three years working for, and traveling with, Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman on such projects as Portrait of a Lady, Peacemaker, Practical Magic, The Blue Room, Without Limits, Mission Impossible: 2 and as I joyfully refer to it “film school with Stanley Kubrick” on Eyes Wide Shut for over a year. Next I started my own production company and Co-produced the award winning, special edition DVD of The Usual Suspects: Roundup: Deposing the Usual Suspects for MGM.

In 2000 I founded this site www.IndieProducer.net (iP). It was designed to be a film and TV community that would not only help educate, connect and support new and emerging filmmakers it would build an arena for them to create together regardless of location or distance. Now iP provides job opportunities, internships, film & TV resources, news, interviews and networking opportunities with an emphasis on connecting new and emerging filmmakers to established working professionals via our iP Schmoozefests. I spearheaded iP’s growth to include a worldwide screenwriting contest and short film contest (three of iP’s winning short films went on to become Oscar nominated) both now in their 7th year! Over the years iP has honored many new and emerging filmmakers for their projects along with legends in our industry; Jon Favreau, Bill Paxton, Andy Garcia and Michael Rapaport with our “Outstanding Contribution to Film” award. I can spend hours on our site reading about all of you filmmakers, at every stage of your careers, see how you're interacting with each other and I love playing your videos.

My first feature producing credit was Agent Cody Banks followed by Agent Cody Banks 2: Destination London which I set up at MGM. I then produced the multiple award winning and critically acclaimed feature documentary; My Date with Drew. An independent study found “Drew” to be the fourth most profitable movie of all time based on a budget to revenue comparison. Drew was made with a budget of only $1,100.00 (yep, eleven hundred dollars)... so no excuses! “Drew” won the Audience Award for Best Feature at the 2004 HBO Comedy Arts Festival, against such films as Napoleon Dynamite and Supersize Me. We won Best Feature at the New York Gen Art Film Festival, Best Documentary at the Vail Film Festival, and the Audience Award for Best Feature, Gellar/Devonport Award for Best Feature and the Grand Jury Award for Best Feature at the Sonoma Valley Film Festival. We negotiated a worldwide, theatrical release; not bad for a documentary. After "Drew" I set up and Produced the romantic comedy; Perfect Match for Lifetime which stars "Lost" star Ian Henry Cusick. After that I produced: Expert Insight: Short Game Golf with Jim Furyk and Fred Funk (two of golf's top ten players) which won the 2007 Telly Award for Outstanding Instructional Content and Cinematic Excellence.

Most recently I produced "Like Dandelion Dust", a compelling family drama starring Mira Sorvino, Cole Hauser & Barry Pepper. It was adapted for the screen by Oscar nominee, Stephen J. Rivele (“Nixon” and “Ali”), from a best selling book of the same name. Dandelion debuted at the Palm Springs International Film Festival in January of 09 and has won 33 awards over 36 festivals since then, including The Deauville Film Festival.

I am currently producing Seeking Happily Ever After (SHEA) directed by journalist and best selling author, Michelle Cove. SHEA is an exploration of a recent US Census stating there are more single women in their 30's today than any other time in history. We've been amazed at what a hot button issue this is for so many people. Our trailer was accepted into Sundance, 1 of only 25 accepted and was their top rated trailer:www.seekinghappilyeverafter.com.

The second documentary is for HBO on the great jazz legend; Miles Davis. Directed by Chris Wilkinson, half of the writing team that wrote "Ali", and Oscar nominee for "Nixon". Chris is an avid jazz fan, and through him and the Grammy award winning music producer, Bob Belden, I have already met more living jazz legends than I ever could have imagined and learned that jazz is a language unto itself.

Most recently I was asked to Produce "Whiskey Bay", based on a true story set in Louisiana, which will be Cole Hauser's directorial Debut. It's a brilliant script written by Johnny Hirschbein, someone I've been wanting to work with for a long time.

Speaking Engagements and Mentorship Programs:
I've been a guest speaker, panelist, and moderator at film festivals and film summits all over the world. I've spoken at colleges, schools and writing groups to encourage and support new and emerging filmmakers. I'm a Mentor for the "Step Up" program in Los Angeles which mentors women in business and I'm a member of the PGA (Producers Guild of America) and BAFTA (British Academy of Film and Television).
Active Projects
"Whiskey Bay" - Directed by Cole Hauser, written by Johnny Hirschbein. Based on a true story, set in Louisiana.
"College Sucks" Directed by Brian Herzlinger and written by Brian Herzlinger and Jay Black.
"Seeking Happily Ever After" - we are editing www.seekinghappilyeverafter.com
"Making Miles - The Miles Davis Story" - HBO Documentary with Chris Wilkinson, Steve Rivele, Bob Belden and Don Cheadle - this'll be a long process and a labor of love but we've shot some great stuff already!
Projects Currently In Development (Title, Film/Television, Status, Budget)
Autoscope
The Wedding Tour
Roy Vs The Aliens
Favorites (Film, Director, Television, Actors, Musicians, etc.)
The Dark Knight, Pan's Labrynth, Wuthering Heights (the original), The English Patient, Across the Universe, Overboard, Million Dollar Baby, Everything But The Girl, Jem, Westlife, Bon Jovi, Wuthering Heights, Black Beauty
Dreams & Goals
To make wonderful and lasting entertainment and have a great time doing it.

To meet and collaborate with new and interesting people as I move through this life.

To own a beautiful ranch with free roaming horses and enough room for rescued animals to live out their lives in safety and comfort.

Also to continue traveling throughout the world and visit all the countries I haven't seen yet.

Seeking Happily Ever After Update

Hey iP'ers,

So it's been crazeeeee busy since my last update. I am producing Cole Hauser's directorial debut "Whiskey Bay" - a brilliant script written by Johnny Hirschbein and based on a true story. With all that's been going on at Lucky Crow Films it's been a struggle balancing the projects! However, with Seeking Happily Ever After so close to a first cut I'm thrilled to be able to share two separate press pieces that came out this week with you:… Continue

San Diego Film Festival - Like Dandelion Dust & Seeking Happily Ever After

SO I was supposed to attend the San Diego Film Festival because "Like Dandelion Dust" was the opening feature. But as luck would have it, and not in my favor for a change, I had to go to a meeting up here in Los Angeles so I wasn't able to drive down. By all accounts it was a sweet festival and the movie was well received by a sold out audience of 500.

I've been talking a lot about Like Dandelion Dust in my blogs and I feel remiss in talking about our documentary "Seeking Happily Ever After" wh… Continue

Thank you! It was exciting for me to put a face with your name. Which I totally could have done had I just gone to the Schmoozefest, right? :-D I'll have to attend the next one! I'll be more settled here and round up some of my ArcLight friends.

So nice to meet you!
