Noelle just finished starring as the truck stop prostitute, Heather in the dark and dramatic, independent film, Lot Lizard that is currently on hold.  She also played the supporting role of Mrs. Greasby, a middle school gym coach / drill sergeant, in the indie comedy, PIehead, due out later this year.  Most recently she co-starred on an episode of Law and Order Los Angeles.   Noelle can be seen co-starring on television shows on NBC, FOX, ABC, The Family Channel, and Comedy Central, and on the web.   Noelle made it into the top 10 performers in the acting competition, reality show, Hellbent For Hollywood

Noelle recently finished performing the role of Olga in a world premier translation of Chekhov’s Three Sisters called Three Sisters OR Perestroika, adapted and directed by Pavel Cerny.  Some of Noelle’s favorite stage performances include “Cod” in Slaughter City with the Son Of Semele Ensemble and “Mary” in Baggage Claim at The Hudson Guild Theatre, in Los Angeles; “Rita” in A Girl’s Guide to Chaos at Nick’s Comedy Stop and “Emilia” in Othello with The Mass Bay Theater, in Boston;  “Sally” in Pack of Lies at the Merrimack Repertory Theatre in Massachusetts; “Ronnie” in Domino Courts with the New American Stage Company in NYC; and sketch/comedy/improvisation at Walt Disney World, in Florida and in The Miss Lesbian Princess Pageant at the ACME Conedy Theater in Los Angeles.

Noelle studied Meisner Technique at the William Esper Studio in NYC and is a proud member of SAG, AFTRA, and Actors Equity.  Shawn Brogan of The Brogan Agency in Los Angeles represents Noelle both theatrically and commercially.

Noelle loves philosophical discussions on the meaning of life, yoga, hiking, horseback riding, long walks on the beach at sunset, and exploring life.

How it all began and the emergence of a screenwriter:

Noelle Messier was born in Hartford, Connecticut where she lived with her parents and brother and sister until age 10 when the family moved to Leominster, Massachusetts.  As a kid, Noelle loved animals, camping, and horseback riding. In High School, Noelle got bit by the drama bug and immediately started playing leading roles in school and community plays and musicals.  Graduating from High School with High Honors she had to choose between becoming a veterinarian, a brain surgeon, a foreign language interpreter, or an actress.

On the advice of her great uncle, John Mace, a legendary voice teacher in NYC, she attended The Boston Conservatory of Music for two years.  Feeling unable to compete in the Musical Theater arena, Noelle transferred to Emerson College in Boston and graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Mass Communication with a concentration in Television Production.

After working several years as a camera, sound operator, and producer for Digital Equipment Corporation she returned to her stage roots and began performing in Boston with the Mass Bay Theater Company.  Bit once again by the acting bug she began doing commercial, industrials, and theatre in Boston until she landed a contract at Walt Disney World in Florida.  At Walt Disney World she performed sketch comedy and Improvisation at MGM Studios and Epcot Center for the attractions, Screentest, Streetmosphere, and the Anacomical Players.

After leaving Florida, Noelle went to NYC to study voice with her great uncle John Mace and graduated from the Meisner acting training program at the William Esper Studio.  While in NYC, Noelle did a play with The New American Stage Company and began writing to express her sexual identity.  Her first short story, Virgin Lesbian Straight Up was published in The Lesbian News and a book called Inspiration For LGBT Students And Their Allies.

Looking for a change in scene and in the weather, the next stop was Los Angeles.  While in Los Angeles Noelle continued building her acting resume with short and student films and published her second article in the Lesbian News, Stripping, She combined her two short stories into a script for a short film and got her first taste for screenwriting.

Frustrated by the ups and downs of living a creative life and trying find more stability, Noelle decided to explore her love for animals and got an Associates Degree from Pierce College in Veterinary Technology and became a Registered Veterinary Technician in the State of California.  She worked full-time for about a year at the California Institute of Technology in Pasadena taking care of frogs and mice in the lab animal department.  Finding this to be too emotionally taxing and missing her creative roots she began writing again.

Noelle used her experience in the veterinary world to write a television drama pilot script about a lesbian veterinarian called, DVM that became a top finalist in two screenwriting contests and a horror feature script about escaped killer lab mice called, Mouse Revenge.  Realizing that she was most fulfilled and happy when using her creative skills she quit the veterinary technician job and began re invigorating her acting career while continuing to write.  Noelle has also written a romantic comedy feature about sexual identity and identity theft, called I.D., also a screenplay contest finalist, and a sexually suggestive, comedy, film noir pilot about a lesbian detective that has been optioned twice.  Plans are in the works to produce and star in a teaser / web series of the pilot called, Donna Manicotti, Dyke Detective later this year.  Upcoming writing projects include a dark lesbian super hero feature and a straight romantic buddy comedy.

Noelle continues building her acting resume with television, feature film and theatre credits, writing, working as a catering event manager and buffet designer, and enjoying life.
