Yes Home and Away films on Palm Beach, has for years, so if that's where you mean its probably them!
in the meantime, drop by and view my showreel - www.gillianemmett.com - and do mention me to all your fabulous Aussie director and producer friends! :)
Thank you for your msg.
My script is a feature titled "Choosing Sides".
Hi Peter,
It is not about the IRA - one of the characters happens to be an ex-IRA just as one of the characters is an ex-CIA but it is not about the CIA either.
It is about a young woman running from her mother's death and the men behind it who becomes a hostage to terrorists seeking to destroy Americans' trust in government.
It is a political thriller.

Could you let me know which painting you liked? Was it the dancer on the light blue background?("Sprite") I've had you in mind for a long time and sorry I didn't get back to you until now. I will find out how much a high quality giclee print will cost and get back to you. I prefer to give high quality to my customers while not pricing myself out of the market. So let me know and in the meantime I will get a price quote.
Best,
Genie

I was copied on your email interaction with last year's iP screenwriting winner John McDonald and felt compelled to write to him. He was indeed given all the prizes, but John lives in London which is why he couldn't get to the agency meetings we were happy to set up for him here. Anne MacIver should have been announced as "previous winner" and that was our oversight which we will rectify - but to say that he didn't receive his prizes or meetings is grossly inaccurate and I sent him an email to that effect.
Thank you for being a valued member of IndieProducer Peter.

About the picture with the blue background that you liked, "Sprite", I will be making giclee prints of it and others when I'm ready to do that, so do keep me in mind if you want to purchase it.
I hope you are doing well.

I hope to see you there.
best,
Susan
Thanks for the comment. It's good that this site reminds you you're not alone in this tough ambition.
Best wishes

I think the potential for GIAD, rests upon how I translate the underdog element of Lily's story. The fact that she's 35, female and is pursuing this 'dream' of hers, will speak to fans of metal and especially the fans of the bands we want to appear in the film. The added plus though, is regardless of whether you like metal, the concept will appeal to anybody who fantasizes about rock-stardom and who loves the triumphs of the average Joe.
As for the AFC, I actually have a really good friend on the grants committee, who believes so much in GIAD, but we've yet to find a grant that is suited to us, as we need to shoot just about all of it overseas and use international acts or the film will be redundant. The Australian music industry, simply has too few bands who are well known oversea and it will kill our vast demographic.
Thanks for your feedback! :)
