- An independent producer from Los Angeles, Saleah Askia and her production company Headlight Films have produced a number of short films, music videos, and commercials. Saleah’s body of work includes films by award winning director Danielle Katvan and videos for several music artists including Zion I and Goapele.
Her latest film “Laundry” has been featured on Film News Briefs – Filmmaker’s to watch, and in 2009, her film “Stranger Things” won the Eastman KODAK Silver Award for Excellence in the Craft of Filmmaking. Saleah is currently in pre-production for her next short film and in development on her first feature film.

Equally, let me tell you that LAUNDRY truly rocks! Besides, if I'm not mistaken I've already seen this little gem for the first time at Massify, I believe. Very well-crafted job.
Indeed, it is clear that its discourse has been deftly delivered in such economical terms that it's impossible not to end up absolutely immersed in its compelling narrative style. Further, its story undoubtedly exudes tenderness, innocence, a captivating pacing and most importantly, an always welcoming sense of humor. Again, good job. :))
