I lived in L.A. for a few years learning the business and worked with the directors Peter Gries and Jeff Gold developing screenplays.

UNITED WE MAKE MOVIES

I was thinking about all of of these talented people on this Indie site with the same thing in mind. Everyone wants to be successful in the film business. The studios ignore you because they are afraid of liability. Agents are usually under financed and want only people that have deals already to go. Everyone really paranoid about liability.

Bob Teske, here, and Creator of THE BLACK RIDERS feature film screenplay series.

I know it has been quite a while since the last time we chatted. I've been a little busy lately. I've taken on a new partner, Shara Nickell, and we've formed our own company under my Subtropolis Film Partners banner (Subtropolis Film Partners, LLC). We've managed to come up with the first 20% of the projected budget (PLUS the GAP Funding) and we're looking to make some strategic alliances, as well as bringing in new partners. I believe this might be something that would interest you, and maybe you might know some investors that might be interested in coming onboard. We have several B-acting talent interested in the project already (and we have letters of interest from them). I've been talking with my partner and I believe that when it comes time for casting, we're going to cast the project under the Screen Actors Guild's "Favored Nation" Clause Provision. If name talent want to work on the project, it'll have to be on the merit of the project itself and not on the money.
