I'm doing well. Had a supporting role in "The Fourth Kind" and that opened this weekend so it has been really fun with all of that. Went with a huge group of friends on Friday to see it.
What were you working on in Vienna?
I don't think it's a matter of getting beyond whats on the surface.. Even drama Passion of The Christ lingered over the gore of violence with unnecessary "passion"..! No matter how noble your vehicle is, if you are trying to get an audience by exploiting very basic instincts in very basic people it has very little to do with art and has much to do with quick "getting there" by any means..
I'm no particular fan or horror myself. Every pitch I've given for In Paris Dark has been that it's more of a situation in life story than a vampire story, that being- "what would one truly do if they lived forever?" I also bullet the concept as: 'Vampire as artist'. If you're able to get beyond the vampire vehicle it may still bear some value. If not, I can only respect...
Thanks for your reply! Paul
Happy New Year.
Welcome to IP. A very impressive portfolio. Would love to work with you some day if you ever need a composer.
