National Noir Day

I was reading a blurb in a newsletter I receive about establishing a national-something-or-other day as a way of promoting my own work. I figured that since I am such a fan of pulp fiction and crime/detective films, books, and stories, I'd take a shot at coining National Noir Day, a day to celebrate hardboiled dudes, femme fatales, and the curveballs that get thrown at us.
